Spring on the way to Boskone

On the way out to the door to Boskone I spotted these in the newly uncovered earth: snowdrops! In flower even. So it’s just a cellphone pic, but a pic nonetheless. And Boskone? The usual. Went to a couple panels. Hung out with friends. It’s still not Readercon.

Kinda sorta looks like melting

The snow recedes and reveals shoots. Little green shoots that might be crocus or snowdrops or maybe even daffodils. Things are pretty intermingled in there. Could be all three. Or could be I’m getting my hopes up.

A teeny bit of melting

Some of the trails are trodden by squirrels. Some are the glazes of trickling rills. Except calling them rills is a wording too strong, For the trails of a melt that is oozing along. Just the feeble signs of a slightly warm day, And another false promise it will all go away.

I suppose I’m going to Boskone this weekend, but I’m so busy putting off other things, I haven’t had time to think about it. Or this blog. Yes, you got it. Another content-free post written in unthinking haste. What a waste!
