Here’s my first impulse buy of plants for the year. From left to right: thyme, parsley, cilantro, scallions, and pansies. You can’t see it, but the garlic I planted last fall is sprouting behind them. More greenery!

Not quite as charming as trains of little pink hearts, but I like the deep red color and the tiny folded fans of the leaves.
