When I started, I wasn’t sure I would keep this up for a month, let alone a year. I can’t say whether this blog has gotten any better. I find it just as embarrassing to look at yesterday’s post as last year’s. I have found it a useful place to store things like my pizza recipe or links to stories I like and love. The same goes for books I like and love. I have to admit I’ve lost interest in posting about stories I don’t enjoy. And, of course, it’s been a lot of fun to gather pictures of bees. I can hardly wait for spring!
What have I learned.
- Have fun.
- Stop trying so hard.
- If you keep putting content out there, people will find it.
- You have no idea what people will be interested in. You only know what interests you.
What I plan.
- Read this year’s Nebula and Hugo nominees.
- Learn more about bees.
- Keep taking pictures of my garden!
