My first tomato of the year! My, that ripened quickly. Just a few days ago it was barely blushing.

Writing Every Day 
I was thinking of your garden while working in the field at the farm last week. We were hoeing out a few rows of watermelons, which last season must have had tomatoes in it. I cut down more volunteer tomatoes than you have in your entire yard.
I’ll bet! I’m way behind on tomatoes this year. Just the one plant. I think I have another tomato to pick tonight. Soon the deluge. A very small deluge.
