Small successes

I’m sorry my posts this week have been mind-alteringly dull. There will be more about SF reading next week, honest. I finished Brasyl, but I’m still digesting it. I discovered that I still like my favorite Nancy Kress story. And even though I’ve been playing with a new camera all day, I managed to start writing at a mere 10:30 pm. Woo-hoo! Which oddly enough reminds me of yesterday’s unfinished sentence.

Supposedly there was a real sound being drowned out by the whoops and hollers and retro-authentic frontier yells, but kaboom parties had started years before Persephone came to Mars and she had never heard the faint report carried on the wafer thin air.

Now if you don’t mind, I’ve got some more sentences to leave unfinished.
