I don’t really do New Year’s resolutions. I’m always making plans for what I want to do and resolving to do better next week. But it’s a good time to consider my writing goals for the year. Which are:
- I’m closing in on finishing an evolutionary Just-So story.
- I’m working on an old story that I’m convinced has something wonderful hidden in it, if I could only uncover what it means.
- And I have four very short drafts that I want to turn into short stories.
So that’s six stories right off that I resolve to finish in 2010. In order to raise the ante from last year, I also resolve to start and finish a new story that I haven’t even thought of yet.
Who knows what might happen?
