In general I feel like I’ve taken leave of my senses to start working on this dumb fairy tale that I’ve chosen to work on. And yet, why not? It might be easier to finish if I’m not trying to write the best story I’ve ever written. Besides, I have to choose something. I like having many things available to work on at once, but nothing gets finished unless I focus on one. So now I’m in the phase where it’s all I can manage to keep poking at it until I get whatever it is the story wants to say written down. This is the tough part, but I know I’ve gotten through it before. This is the part where stubbornness helps.
Anyway, that’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.
