But I haven’t.
After crowing about how well writing at a regular time went for me in August, I became much more irregular about my writing time in September. If I skip writing between 11 am to noon, it only gets even harder for me to start. What happens is I get the nagging delusion that I did write at 11 am, and my backbrain thinks it’s off the hook. When I finally do start, the writing hour seems to drag on and it seems like I’m not getting anywhere. Amazingly, it only seems that way.
When I tally up what I worked on, I usually find that I did more than I thought. Combine that with sneakily giving myself easy writing tasks, and I kept my average at 1100 words a day.
So that’s a relief, but still, it’s so much easier when I write in the morning. Did I mention that I haven’t written yet?
Write widely.
Well, I think I have the read widely part working. 😉
