My guppy named Sue is turning out to be quite beautiful, if I may say so. I love his flowing flaming tail, the rainbow shimmer on his sides, and the blue-white flags of his fins. If you can believe these blurry pictures.
Despite my earlier fears, the tank hasn’t filled with baby guppies yet. There’s still just two little ones. The only casualties lately have been two of the Sisters who went out to visit with the water lily way, way too early. So the total is back down to six guppies. And the offspring are starting to show their colors.
I’m pretty sure Evelyn is another boy, still zipping around and showing signs of rainbow streaks on the sides, just like Dad.
Madison I’m not so sure about. There’s some color, but that roundish figure reminds me of the lost first generation of pretty mama guppies, the ones I called Neon or Speckles. In other words, Madison looks more like one of (provisionally) her grandmothers.
The real question is: Eh-vel-in or Eee-vel-in?
