It’s over. We can return to luxuriating in clean, drinkable tap water. Our friends who live in Cambridge can stop taunting us with how nicely running water gets the soap off your hands. And I learned a few things from the Late Great Boston Boil Order of 2010:
- It takes 25 minutes to bring 8 quarts of water to a boil.
- Making noodles goes a lot faster when you already have a big pot of hot water to steal from.
- It’s a great way to celebrate National Drinking Water Week!
