I’m still picking raspberries! Maybe not quite a bowl full, but they’re bearing quite a respectable collection every couple days.
And the war on weeds is subsiding. Areas that I cleared of the Evil Weed this year are staying clear. Either I actually got rid of it, or it’s getting too cool to anything to grow quickly, even weeds.
It’s very encouraging that this Burning Bush that I uncovered last year is still weed-uncovered. Amazing. This year it put on a nice little show. And so have its many sprouts scattered on the hill. Skinny little tree-sprouts with bright red leaves all over the place.
Which is the weed, I wonder?
