I sold a poem!

That makes two sales, one per year. I didn’t exactly jump up and down this time, but I did let out a squeak of delight when I saw the magic words: “I’m accepting…” So look for “A Cricket in a Teahouse” in the June 2012 issue of  Aoife’s Kiss .

This came along at just the right time. I have to admit I’ve been mostly world-building, and when I consider how little I’ve been writing, I feel like a total fraud.  But there’s another feeling that something big is building inside me, and a voice chanting, something’s gonna change, something’s gonna change.

I wonder what I’ll have written by next June.
