It’s another writing surge

1200 words this morning. Another 1300 this afternoon. Just when I was beginning to think I was going in the wrong direction, a “what-if” presented itself, and sent me in this new direction. I guess I’m back on track.

Today I’m back to sorting out what I’ve written. This story is like a kind of madness. It’s going to make it very hard to pay attention to the madness of Readercon. I think I’m going to be one of the jerks in the back row with a laptop pretending to listen. Here we go.

Another thousand words

This morning I got caught up in the story again, and when I came up for air, there was another thousand words. I guess the writing frenzy hasn’t dried up after all. Looks like I’m bringing my laptop to Readercon. Oh yeah, Readercon. What am I going to do?

Only a thousand words

Today was busy, so I only managed about 1000 words. Only a thousand words? Only? I never would have thought I would call that was a low count.
