I’m going to be a bit crazy next week. NERAX is coming. It’s a beer festival dedicated to showcasing the traditional style of beer, before it was filtered, pasterized, chilled, and put into pressurized kegs. We’re so traditional that more than half the beers in the festival will be coming from the UK, where the movement to preserve real ale was born as CAMRA.
It’s an amazing festival. The first year I attended, I went to every session, and they haven’t be able to get rid of me ever since. This year I will be the bar manager. In the meantime, running the Twitter feed and Facebook page has been fun, and a huge distraction. So there’s going to be a lot of very brief posts on this blog. If you want to hear from me, you’ll have to come to NERAX!
